"DroneMAT" is an electromagnetic ultrasonic thickness gauge (EMAT) designed for industrial drones. It enables ultrasonic thickness measurements from drones in a more efficient, reliable, and safe manner. Its modular and lightweight design allows various industrial drones to be transformed into aerial UT drones, expanding the range of applications and uses. Additionally, it does not require a contact medium (couplant), and accurate measurements can be taken simply by placing the transducer on the measurement surface. The EMAT device can be mounted on commercially available industrial drones, with the standard mounting bracket being for the DJI Matrice 300 RTK. It can be easily installed if you have a DJI M300. Even those with little drone experience can master the measurement operation in about 15 minutes.
